“We both figured something out that helps us keep a positive attitude no matter what happens to us. People always say we’re inspiring and amazing. I told Bonnie we should tell our story and help people, and she finally agreed,” said co-author Ronda Del Boccio. She is legally blind since birth. She is an award-winning author, authoring coach, mentor and fearless public speaker.
“I’m a fiction writer, but I decided Ronda was right that we really are on to something that could help a lot of people get off their pity pot.” Award-winning co-author Bonnie Tesh, who has a background in healthcare, has survived two kinds of cancer. “I shouldn’t even be alive, but by the grace of God, I’m still here.” Tesh has been in remission for seven years. Their book, I’ll Push, You Steer: The Definitive guide to Stumbling Through life With Blinders On, came out last fall with AWOC Books. “We wrote the book in ten weeks and can hardly believe it’s coming out this soon,” said Del Boccio. “It’s great to have a publisher who really believes in us and in what we have to say.” “There is a funny story about how the title came to be, but you’ll have to go to our blog or read the book to find out,” said Tesh. “People get into a rut and let their mind get stuck on worry and doubt,” Del Boccio said. The authors teach a simple technique in the book and at live events on how to get out of your rut and into your new groove. “We share a lot of ourselves and our personal stories in the book and live presentations.
